USA SWIMMING is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all of their athletes.  As part of this committment, USA Swimming has established a comprehensive training program targetted toward preventing athlete abuse.

All coaches, officials, parents, and volunteers are required to complete this training prior to being on deck with the athletes.

​

Becoming certified is a two step process.  You will need to complete a background check as well as an online Athlete Protection Training (APT) module.

Use the following steps to complete the ATHLETE PROTECTION TRAINING.

1.  Login in to your Swims 3.0 account using the following link:

2. Click on 'Education' (Course Catalog)

​

3. Click 'Safe Sport'

​

4.  Click 'Athlete Protection Training'

​

5. Complete the training module.

​
